Eight page catalog, thirty five formulation codes

A product catalog for the Celicore line, designed to introduce the range and then let readers scan it. I set a page grid that holds thirty five formulation codes without variation, then paced it with photography.

Work by Will Mosley during his tenure as Creative Director at New Human.

Catalog spread: the science page and the first formulation grid

01

A grid that scales.

Every formulation gets the same unit: numbered circle, bottle, code, name and one line. Three columns hold the pattern across three pages, so adding a formula later is a data task rather than a design task.

Photography bands break up the product grids

02

Pauses between the data.

Wide photo bands and a full page image break up the product grids. The rhythm keeps a reference document from feeling like a spreadsheet.

The back cover closes on a quiet family image

03

A quiet close.

The back cover trades the grid for one warm photograph and a short welcome. The catalog ends the way it began, with people rather than product codes.

Up close

Consistency at the scale of a product line.
