AI print rebuild pipeline

A poster too soft to print, rebuilt as a true print file without hand typesetting.

Title card for the AI print rebuild pipeline: too soft to print, rebuilt, not enlarged

Transcription, reconcile, vector rebuild, raster repair, QA
Timeframe
October 2026

Human Potential Initiatives, a Start Right client, had five reference posters made in ChatGPT at 1024 by 1536 pixels, far too soft for 16 by 20 inch foam boards and carrying the letter slips image models make. Rebuilding them by hand was estimated at 45 to 70 hours of typesetting. I designed an agent pipeline to do it instead: transcribe, reconcile, rebuild as live type, repair what could not be rebuilt, then check every change before anyone saw it.

Start Right client work for Human Potential Initiatives, pipeline designed and run by Will Mosley as founder. The posters' artwork, wording and subject are Joda Williams's and the Center for Conscious Biology's; shown here only as print preparation, and none of their content is reproduced.

The transcription and reconcile pass: 152 blocks and 833 words, nothing unresolved

01

Read it twice, then settle the arguments.

Two independent transcriptions were taken from zoomed tiles of the source, alongside OCR. A reconcile pass aligned them block by block and re-read every disagreement and every low confidence block from six and twelve times enlargements of the original. The result was 152 text blocks and 833 words with nothing left unresolved, before a single line was set.

Left, the rebuilt sheet as live type with clean vector icons; right, the same rows in the source file at the same scale

02

Rebuild, don't enlarge.

An enlargement keeps the softness. The rebuild sets every word as live type in HTML and CSS and renders a vector PDF at 16.25 by 20.25 inches, with the panel and rule geometry measured by pixel against the paper color. The 23 icons were cut from the source sheet, so the shapes stay the original artist's, and set in consistent vector rings. Two QA lenses, word for word against the source and layout at print size, passed 152 of 152 blocks verbatim with zero blocking issues.

The raster repairs on two boards: four fixes inside the original art, confirmed by a pixel difference audit

03

Repair what you cannot rebuild, and prove it.

Two boards kept their original ChatGPT art, so the fixes had to be invisible: a broken word rebuilt by cloning letterforms from the same poster, a garbled line re-set, a sentence that stopped mid-way finished in the client's own words, and a missing line transplanted from its sibling poster at matched scale and weight. A pixel difference audit confirmed that only the intended regions changed. The full rebuild of the first board also caught four new letter slips in the client's revised file, which went back to her to rule on rather than being silently corrected, because the content is hers.
